At David Rio, community has always been at the heart of who we are. As a San Francisco-founded company, we are proud to support organizations and events that help create connection, inclusion, and belonging throughout our city.
This Pride Month, we're honored to partner with the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and participate in STRUT's Pride celebration on June 21. STRUT is a welcoming community hub in the Castro that provides sexual health services, HIV prevention and care, gender-affirming care, and other essential resources for the LGBTQ+ community. Their work reflects the spirit of Pride by helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

This year's celebration is especially meaningful as STRUT marks its 10-year anniversary with a Tea Dance in San Francisco's Castro district. Tea Dances trace their roots to a time when LGBTQ+ individuals often faced discrimination and limited opportunities to gather openly. What began as a refuge for connection and belonging has transformed into a vibrant celebration of community, visibility, and freedom, making it a fitting way to honor both Pride and STRUT's decade of service to the San Francisco community.
As a company founded in San Francisco, we are proud to stand alongside the San Francisco AIDS Foundation in celebrating Pride and supporting the diverse communities that make our city such a special place. We believe that creating spaces where people feel welcomed, respected, and connected is more important than ever.
"From the beginning, David Rio has been about more than what we create; it's about who we stand with. Pride is deeply personal to us, rooted in our belief in community, respect, and human kindness. As others pull back, we choose to lean in, proudly supporting the LGBTQ+ community and the simple yet powerful idea that love is love. We are honored to partner with organizations like the San Francisco AIDS Foundation that help create spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated." Scott Lowe, Founder & CEO, David Rio
