On June 6, 2002 The San Francisco Mayor's Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities named David Rio "Employer of the Year". David Rio was chosen for its commitment in hiring people with disabilities.

David Rio will continue actively to hire those with disabilities and would like to thank Toolworks, the non-profit organization who introduces qualified individuals who are vital to our success.
